Will AI destroy us ?

An AI takeover is a hypothetical scenario in which artificial intelligence (AI) becomes the dominant form of intelligence on Earth, with computers or robots effectively taking the control of the planet away from the human species. Possible scenarios include replacement of the entire human workforce, takeover by a superintelligent AI, and the popular notion of a robot uprising. According to me, AI cannot take over us in the future because it is just dust when compared to our brains and the reason for the strong statement is AI is just like a child if we teach it to create it will create and when we teach it to destroy it will destroy. We can call it simply a slave for a master. It is safe until AI gets into some wrong hands. The next thing is that if we keep some sort of kill switch in AI then it will help us in controlling AI when something goes wrong.
